Introducing Aaron Cruden, the Young Man, Small in the Outer Man of his Exterior, however, it is only Seismologists who can gauge the “Sizemonic” earthquake of the Inner Man of his Interior, where Champions are Born, Reared, Nurtured, and Readied.

I am sure this is a moment for all of you reading this piece of posting… Let’s have a Group High-Five!

Now, such an opening salvo may indicate to you, the reader, that this blogger of the Blackness believes that whatever “it” may be, the boy-to-man, Aaron Cruden has “it!”

But does he? Okay, if all this talk about “it” is starting to overheat your intellectual engines, start thinking…

Do you think the Man Has “It”?

Many of you may be thinking some of the following to yourself. I don’t know how to quite answer this question, as the majority of the time that we see this young man in the All Black jersey has been in the more relaxed confines of Junk Time, rather than in the pressure-cooker context of Prime Time.

Well, while this may be the case, 9/11 is on the horizon… 2010… when Aaron Cruden steps out for his first start in an All Black jersey, where he will wear the Number 10 Shirt that has been the domain of one Dan, and he will do so as the newly appointed man in the middle, who must make his All Black mark, and definitively so.

While this may prove daunting to most, his attitude towards this opportunity highlights why I believe Aaron Cruden has “it” in him to succeed at the highest level in the sporting code of Rugby Union, with this first Australian adventure, a first witness to this reality.

Now, I could tell you what I think “it” is about Aaron Cruden, but we want to hear from you!
