Yes, it’s that time again, as the Boys in Black prepare for the Battle with the Bokke in the Republic, Sunday Morning (NZ Time)!

In our first and last “Pick the Score” Competition, tealeaves, would be the winner, winner, as most, double-fake-whammied by the previous week, when the All Blacks went “Tropo” over the Wobblies, predicted a cricket score of a victory.  Sent down this garden path, it was left to tealeaves to drink in all the success (I know, sad line), as this member, only off by a combined 10 points, would hold off Messi, he not of Barcelona, by a single, solitary point… Exciting Stuff? No Doubt!

As promised, we have put this new competition post up earlier, so that as many worldwide members as possible will be readied to unleash their acumen, wisdom, skill, and insight onto a reading membership.  However, as there will probably be a good number of people looking for something for nothing… Sorry, The Telecom Chicks are not for free [See Dire Straits for explanation].  Uh Oh, “that” could get me fired!  Moving right along…

A. How To Enter 

If you entered in our last competition, which was our first competition [Do I really need to repeat myself…? And while I am asking… talking to myself as well?], you may understand what needs to take place… BUT NO… Put the keyboard down… and read on!

You will have only one, One, 1, opportunity to put your score on the board, by leaving a comment on this blog post, before… Yes, before the kick-off on Sunday morning (members who left their comments at half-time will not be included… You know who you were), declaring what you think the FINAL score will indicate in the Bokke vs All Blacks Test Match, live and inclusive, from Soweto, South Africa.

Therefore, pick carefully!

However, as there will be a number of members picking their nostril-damus, and in light of the fact that no one may get too close, we have instituted a couple of tie-breakers… should they be needed!

The Blog Thickens…

Therefore, you will also need to (2) Pick how many Tries the All Blacks will score… and (3) Who will be the All Blacks first try scorer… assuming you think it will not be a penalty shoot-out.  It is at Soccer City, after all!  These will only be needed in the event of a tie.

However, if more than one person hits the score on the head, we may just have to hail the individuals, and have more than one winner!

TO RE-CONFIRM: YOU WILL NEED TO LEAVE 3 PARTS TO YOUR COMMENT. (1) Your Pick for the Final Score. (2) Your Number of How Many Tries the All Blacks Will Score.  (3) Who Will Be the First All Black Try Scorer.

B. What You Will Win

We’re Not Telling You (Poking out his tongue… all mature-like).  But seriously, we have named the kings ransom of winning this reward… The Tri-Nations BackingBlack Member Mystery Prize Pack… I can confirm that this is more than one goody, and is definitely worth the effort.

C. What Happens If No One Picks the Score

Then, we will see who is closest, with a cleverly worked through algorithm [Note: Al Gore was not hurt in the testing and trialling of this system].  If there is a double up of members who have come the closest, then we will use questions 2 and 3 to help us determine the WINNER!
